Position: UI/UX Designer Location: Hybrid (Colombo 10, Sri Lanka) Job Type: Full-Time (08:00 AM to 05:00 PM)
Job Summary
As a UI/UX Designer at Torch Labs, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience and interface of our website, dashboard, and other digital assets. You will collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams to create visually appealing and functional designs that drive conversions and deliver exceptional user experiences. You will also be responsible for designing promotional banners and materials to support marketing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and a passion for user-centered design.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design: Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for the website, dashboards, and internal tools.
Conversion Optimization: Work on optimizing user flows, improving usability, and enhancing overall user experience to increase conversion rates.
Marketing Materials: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional banners, social media graphics, email templates, and other marketing materials.
Branding: Ensure consistency in design across all digital platforms, aligning with Torch Labs' brand guidelines.
User Research: Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to understand user needs and pain points.
Prototyping & Wireframing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups for web and mobile applications.
Creative Content: Design visuals for online campaigns, advertisements, and other marketing assets to promote Torch Labs’ products and services.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user feedback, analytics, and performance metrics.
Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, UX best practices, and creative techniques.
Qualifications:
Strong portfolio demonstrating your skills in UI/UX design, including web and mobile applications, as well as marketing materials and graphic design.
Proficiency in Figma (primary tool for UI/UX design).
Familiarity with Photoshop and other design tools (a plus).
Experience creating graphics for digital marketing campaigns, including banners, social media posts, and promotional content.
Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating seamless user experiences and compelling marketing visuals.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers.
Familiarity with user-centered design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
A degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
