**Position:** Software Engineering Intern\
**Location:** Hybrid (Colombo 10, Sri Lanka) \
**Job Type:** Full-Time

### Job Summary

As a **Software Engineering Intern**, you will work closely with our engineering team to build, maintain, and optimize software products across multiple domains, including full-stack web applications, Discord bots, backend systems, AI-driven tools, and infrastructure management. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about software development, eager to learn quickly, and excited to contribute to real-world products in a fast-moving startup environment.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the development and maintenance of **full-stack web applications**, backend systems, and internal tools.
* Support the creation and optimization of **Discord bots**, automation systems, and AI-powered applications.
* Collaborate with developers to design, build, test, and deploy new features.
* Participate in **debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and performance optimization**.
* Assist with **server management, infrastructure maintenance, and deployment workflows**.
* Support AI/ML-related initiatives such as data preprocessing, automation logic, or model integration.
* Contribute to both **frontend** and **backend** development tasks depending on project needs.
* Continuously learn and apply modern development practices, tools, and frameworks.

### Qualifications:

* Basic experience or academic background in **Software Engineering**, **Computer Science**, or related fields.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language such as **JavaScript**, **Python**, or **Node.js**.
* Familiarity with **frontend frameworks** (React, Next.js, Vue.js, etc.) and backend technologies (Express, Django, NestJS, etc.).
* Understanding of **Git/GitHub** and collaborative development workflows.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to work on diverse technical challenges.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Familiarity with **Discord bot development**, APIs, or automation systems.
* Exposure to **AI/ML concepts**, including RAG, model integration, or data pipelines.
* Basic knowledge of **cloud platforms**, **server management**, or DevOps workflows.
* Experience with databases, APIs, or deployment tools is a plus.
